SPAIN, Mar. 8, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 26: Two wins in a row for Barcelona. After their 1-3 win against Granada on February 28, Barca continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 6-1 victory over Rayo Vallecano this Sunday.
Lionel Messi scored tripple goals
Barcelona dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Uruguayan forward Luis Suárez in the 6th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Barca further widened their lead in the second period by scoring five times (Piqué '49, Messi '56/penalty, '63, '68 and Suárez '90).
FC Barcelona climbed to first place with 62 points from 26 games, one point ahead of runner-up Real Madrid.
