SPAIN, Mar. 8, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 26: The match between Atletico Madrid and Valencia ended in a frustrating 1-1 draw on Sunday.
Atletico Madrid players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke in the 33rd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Valencia with a saving goal from German defender Shkodran Mustafi in the 78th minute.
Atletico Madrid remains in third place with 55 points from 26 games, 6 points behind Real Madrid.
