La Liga (Week 12) : Villarreal draw 1-1 with Eibar
SPAIN, Nov. 22, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 12: Villarreal was held to a 1-1 draw by Eibar on Sunday.
Eibar players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Enrich Sergi in the 27th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Villarreal with a saving goal from Villarreal defender Costa Jaume in the 86th minute.
Villarreal CF climbed to fourth place with 21 points from 12 games, 2 points behind Atletico Madrid, which has a game in hand.
