La Liga (Week 13) : Celta Vigo beats Gijon 2-1
SPAIN, Nov. 28, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 13: After losing 1-5 to Valencia on November 21 and 2-0 to Deportivo La Coruna on November 21, Celta bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Sporting Gijon this Saturday.
Celta Vigo dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Chilian midfielder Orellana Fabian in the 15th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Celta further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Nolito Manuel with just 5 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Celta Vigo climbed to fourth place with 24 points from 13 games, tie on points with Real Madrid, which has a game in hand.
