La Liga (Week 14) : Gijon defeats Las Palmas 3-1
SPAIN, Dec. 6, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 14: After three straigth defeats, Los Rojiblancos bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Las Palmas this Sunday.
Sanabria Antonio scored tripple goals
Sporting Gijon forward Sanabria Antonio opened the score in the 17th minute, before seeing Las Palmas catch up in the 38th minute thanks to Nabil El Zhar. 1-1 at half time. Los Rojiblancos eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Sanabria Antonio ('78, '84).
Real Sporting de Gijon climbed to 14th place with 15 points from 14 games, tie on points with Real Sociedad.
