La Liga (Week 14) : Villarreal beats Rayo 2-1
SPAIN, Dec. 6, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 14: After losing 2-0 to Getafe on November 29, El Submarino Amarillo returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Rayo Vallecano this Sunday.
Bakambu Cedric scored dual goals
Rayo Vallecano had started off well by taking the lead in the 41st minute with a goal by midfielder Jozabed. Trailing 1-0 at half time, El Submarino Amarillo nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Bakambu Cedric '69, '86).
Villarreal CF climbed to fifth place with 24 points from 14 games, only one point behind Celta Vigo.
