La Liga (Week 14) : Atletico beats Granada 2-0
SPAIN, Dec. 5, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 14: Four wins in a row for Atletico Madrid. After their success against Sporting Gijon, Real Betis and Espanyol, Los Colchoneros continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 2-0 victory over Granada this Saturday.
Atletico Madrid dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Uruguayan defender Diego Godín in the 20th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Colchoneros further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Griezmann in the 76th minute.
Atletico Madrid remains in second place with 32 points from 14 games, one point behind FC Barcelona, which has a game in hand.
