La Liga (Week 15) : Malaga beats Rayo 2-1
SPAIN, Dec. 13, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 15: After their 2-2 draw against Granada on December 6 and 0-0 draw against Athletic Bilbao on December 6, Los Boquerones bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Rayo Vallecano this Sunday.
Rayo Vallecano had started off well by taking the lead in the 6th minute with a goal by forward Javi Guerra. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Los Boquerones nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Charles Dias Oliveira '59 and Cop Duje '87).
Malaga CF climbed to 16th place with 14 points from 15 games, only one point behind Real Sporting de Gijon.
