La Liga (Week 15) : Barcelona draw 2-2 with Deportivo
SPAIN, Dec. 12, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 15: Barcelona was held to a 2-2 draw by Deportivo La Coruna on Saturday.
Barcelona players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Argentine forward Lionel Messi in the 39th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Rakitić goal ('62) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Deportivo La Coruna with goals by Perez Lucas ('77) and Alex Bergantiños ('86).
FC Barcelona remains in first place with 35 points from 15 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up Atletico Madrid, which has a game in hand.
