La Liga (Week 17) : Barcelona defeats Betis 4-0
SPAIN, Dec. 30, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 17: After their 1-1 draw against Valencia on December 12 and 2-2 draw against Deportivo La Coruna on December 12, Barca returned to winning ways with a 4-0 victory over Real Betis this Wednesday.
Luis Suárez scored dual goals
Barcelona dominated the first half thanks to goals from Westermann ('30 own) and Messi ('33). Leading 2-0 at the break, Barca further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Suárez '46, '83).
FC Barcelona remains in first place with 38 points from 16 games, tie on points with runner-up Atletico Madrid.
