La Liga (Week 17) : Eibar beats Gijon 2-0
SPAIN, Dec. 30, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 17: After losing 2-0 to Deportivo La Coruna on December 19, the Armeros returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Sporting Gijon this Wednesday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Keko Gallardo ('55) and Baston Borja ('62).
SD Eibar climbed to 9th place with 24 points from 17 games, tie on points with Athletic Bilbao, which has a game in hand.
