La Liga (Week 16) : Deportivo beats Eibar 2-0
SPAIN, Dec. 19, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 16: After their 1-1 draw against Sevilla on December 12 and 2-2 draw against Barcelona on December 12, the Brancoazuis bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Eibar this Saturday.
Deportivo La Coruna dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Perez Lucas in the 41st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Brancoazuis further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Arribas in the 73rd minute.
Deportivo La Coruna remains in 6th place with 26 points from 16 games, one point behind Villarreal CF, which has a game in hand.
