Two goals for both sides in the first half, Alcácer ('15) and Mina Santi ('35) for Valencia, Sarabia ('10) and Lafita ('22) for Getafe and none in the second.
Valencia CF climbed to 7th place with 22 points from 16 games, only one point behind Deportivo La Coruna, which has a game in hand.
