SPAIN, Dec. 19, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 16: After losing 1-0 to Celta Vigo on December 12, Los Periquitos bounced back with a 1-0 victory over Las Palmas this Saturday.
45 minutes of play and neither Espanyol nor Las Palmas have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Ecuadorian forward Felipe Caicedo in the 67th minute.
RCD Espanyol climbed to 11st place with 20 points from 16 games, only one point behind SD Eibar, which has a game in hand.
