La Liga (Week 31) : Las Palmas beats Valencia 2-1

SPAIN, Apr. 2, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 31: Two wins in a row for Las Palmas. After their 0-1 win against Real Sociedad on March 19, Los Amarillos continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 2-1 victory over Valencia this Saturday.

Valencia had started off well by taking the lead in the 3rd minute with a goal by forward Rodrigo Moreno. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Los Amarillos nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Viera Jonathan '50 on penalty and Mustafi '64 own).

UD Las Palmas climbed to 11st place with 36 points from 31 games, tie on points with Deportivo La Coruna, which has a game in hand.
