SPAIN, Apr. 2, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 31: After losing 2-1 to Sporting Gijon on March 19, Los Colchoneros bounced back with a 5-1 victory over Real Betis this Saturday.
Antoine Griezmann scored dual goals
Atletico Madrid dominated the first half thanks to goals from Torres ('37) and Griezmann ('42). Leading 2-0 at the break, Los Colchoneros further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Juanfran '65, Griezmann '81 and Thomas '90).
Atletico Madrid remains in second place with 70 points from 31 games, 6 points behind FC Barcelona, which has a game in hand.
