La Liga (Week 27) : Betis beats Espanyol 3-0
SPAIN, Mar. 3, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 27: After three straigth draws, Los Beticos returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Espanyol this Thursday.
Real Betis dominated the first half thanks to goals from Castro Ruben ('10) and Pezzella German ('20). Leading 2-0 at the break, Los Beticos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Vargas Juan in the 71st minute.
Real Betis remains in 13rd place with 31 points from 27 games, one point behind Deportivo La Coruna.
