La Liga (Week 27) : Barcelona beats Rayo 5-1

SPAIN, Mar. 3, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 27: 10 wins in a row for Barcelona. After their success against Granada, Athletic Bilbao, Malaga, Atletico Madrid, Levante, Celta Vigo, Sporting Gijon, Las Palmas and Sevilla, Barca continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 5-1 victory over Rayo Vallecano this Thursday.

Lionel Messi scored tripple goals

Barcelona dominated the first half thanks to goals from Rakitić ('22) and Messi ('23). Leading 2-0 at the break, Barca further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Messi '53, '72 and Turan '86).

FC Barcelona remains in first place with 69 points from 27 games, a 8-point lead over runner-up Atletico Madrid.
