La Liga (Week 28) : Espanyol defeats Rayo 2-1
SPAIN, Mar. 7, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 28: After losing 0-3 to Real Betis on March 3, Los Periquitos bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Rayo Vallecano this Monday.
Espanyol dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Gonzalez Abraham in the 12th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Periquitos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Perez Hernan in the 77th minute.
RCD Espanyol remains in 14th place with 31 points from 28 games, 2 points behind Deportivo La Coruna.
