La Liga (Week 28) : Real Madrid beats Celta Vigo 7-1
SPAIN, Mar. 5, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 28: Two wins in a row for Real Madrid. After their 1-3 win against Levante on March 2, Los Blancos continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 7-1 victory over Celta Vigo this Saturday.
Cristiano Ronaldo served up another goal feast
Real Madrid dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Portuguese defender Pepe in the 41st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Blancos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring six times (Ronaldo '50, '58, '64, '76, Rodriguez Jese '77 and Bale '81).
Real Madrid remains in third place with 60 points from 28 games, one point behind Atletico Madrid, which has a game in hand.
