La Liga (Week 31) : Rayo beats Getafe 2-0
SPAIN, Apr. 1, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 31: After their 1-1 draw against Eibar on March 19 and 2-2 draw against Granada on March 19, Los Franjirrojos returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Getafe this Friday.
Rayo Vallecano dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Javi Guerra in the 15th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Franjirrojos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Miku Fedor Flores in the 71st minute.
Rayo Vallecano de Madrid remains in 16th place with 31 points from 31 games, 2 points behind UD Las Palmas, which has a game in hand.
