La Liga (Week 32) : Villarreal defeats Getafe 2-0
SPAIN, Apr. 10, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 32: Two wins in a row for Villarreal. After their 1-2 win against Eibar on April 3, El Submarino Amarillo continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 2-0 victory over Getafe this Sunday.
Villarreal dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Denis Suárez in the 15th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, El Submarino Amarillo further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Bakambu Cedric with just 6 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Villarreal CF remains in fourth place with 60 points from 32 games, 12 points behind Real Madrid.
