La Liga (Week 33) : Real Madrid beats Getafe 5-1
SPAIN, Apr. 16, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 33: 7 wins in a row for Real Madrid. After their success against Levante, Celta Vigo, Las Palmas, Sevilla, Barcelona and Eibar, Los Blancos continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 5-1 victory over Getafe this Saturday.
Real Madrid dominated the first half thanks to goals from Benzema ('29) and Isco Suarez ('40). Leading 2-0 at the break, Los Blancos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Bale '50, Rodríguez '88 and Ronaldo '90).
Real Madrid climbed to second place with 75 points from 33 games, only one point behind FC Barcelona, which has a game in hand.
