SPAIN, Apr. 17, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 33: Two wins in a row for Athletic Bilbao. After their 1-0 win against Rayo Vallecano on April 10, Los Leones continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 1-0 victory over Malaga this Sunday.
45 minutes of play and neither Athletic Bilbao nor Malaga have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Athletic Bilbao midfielder Raúl García in the 53rd minute.
Athletic Bilbao climbed to fifth place with 54 points from 33 games, 6 points behind Villarreal CF, which has a game in hand.
