La Liga (Week 31) : Real Sociedad beats Gijon 3-1
SPAIN, Apr. 10, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 31: After losing 1-0 to Atletico Madrid on April 4, La Real returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Sporting Gijon this Monday.
Real Sociedad dominated the first half thanks to goals from Willian Jose ('3) and Jimenez Juanmi ('27). Leading 2-0 at the break, La Real further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Berchiche Yuri in the 76th minute.
Real Sociedad climbed to 6th place with 52 points from 31 games, 2 points behind Villarreal CF.
