La Liga (Week 31) : Villarreal beats Bilbao 3-1

SPAIN, Apr. 7, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 31: Two wins in a row for Villarreal. After their 0-1 win against Real Betis on April 4, El Submarino Amarillo continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 3-1 victory over Athletic Bilbao this Friday.

Villarreal defender Ruiz Victor opened the score in the 17th minute, before seeing Athletic Bilbao catch up in the 20th minute thanks to Aymeric Laporte. 1-1 at half time. El Submarino Amarillo eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Bakambu Cedric ('47) and Lopez Adrian ('58).

Villarreal CF remains in fifth place with 54 points from 31 games, 4 points behind Sevilla FC, which has a game in hand.
