La Liga (Week 32) : Bilbao beats Las Palmas 5-1
SPAIN, Apr. 14, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 32: After losing 3-1 to Villarreal on April 7, Los Leones bounced back with a 5-1 victory over Las Palmas this Friday.
Iker Muniain and Aritz Aduriz scored dual goals
Athletic Bilbao dominated the first half thanks to goals from San Jose Mikel ('7), Muniain ('9) and Aduriz ('18). Leading 3-1 at the break, Los Leones further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Muniain '58 and Aduriz '59).
Athletic Bilbao climbed to 6th place with 53 points from 32 games, only one point behind Villarreal CF, which has a game in hand.
