La Liga (Week 33) : Las Palmas hold Alavés to 1-1
SPAIN, Apr. 23, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 33: The match between Las Palmas and Alavés ended in a 1-1 draw on Sunday.
Las Palmas players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Ghanaian forward Kevin-Prince Boateng in the 44th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Alavés with a saving goal from Alavés midfielder Gomez Ibai in the 61st minute.
Deportivo Alavés remains in 11st place with 44 points from 33 games, tie on points with Celta Vigo, which has a game in hand.
