SPAIN, Apr. 22, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 33: Two wins in a row for Atletico Madrid. After their 3-0 win against Osasuna on April 15, Los Colchoneros continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 1-0 victory over Espanyol this Saturday.
Espanyol made Atletico Madrid doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by French midfielder Antoine Griezmann in the 73rd minute.
Atletico Madrid remains in third place with 68 points from 33 games, 4 points behind FC Barcelona, which has a game in hand.
