La Liga (Week 24) : Espanyol beats Osasuna 3-0
SPAIN, Feb. 26, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 24: After losing 1-2 to Real Sociedad on February 18 and 2-0 to Real Madrid on February 18, Los Periquitos bounced back with a 3-0 victory over Osasuna this Sunday.
Espanyol dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Ecuadorian forward Felipe Caicedo in the 17th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Periquitos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Jurado Jose '46 and Moreno '90).
RCD Espanyol climbed to 8th place with 35 points from 24 games, 3 points behind SD Eibar.
