La Liga (Week 24) : Real Sociedad beats Las Palmas 1-0
SPAIN, Feb. 24, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 24: After losing 0-1 to Villarreal on February 19, La Real returned to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over Las Palmas this Friday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Real Sociedad midfielder Prieto Xabi in the 74th minute.
Real Sociedad remains in fifth place with 44 points from 24 games, one point behind Atletico Madrid, which has a game in hand.
