SPAIN, Feb. 26, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 24: Four wins in a row for Barcelona. After their success against Athletic Bilbao, Alavés and Leganés, Barca continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 2-1 victory over Atletico Madrid this Sunday.
45 minutes of play and neither Barcelona nor Atletico Madrid have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Rafinha ('64) and Messi ('86).
FC Barcelona climbed to first place with 54 points from 24 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Real Madrid, which has two games in hand.
