La Liga (Week 24) : Leganés defeats Deportivo 4-0
SPAIN, Feb. 25, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 24: After four straigth defeats, Los Pepineros bounced back with a 4-0 victory over Deportivo La Coruna this Saturday.
Leganés dominated the first half thanks to goals from Szymanowski Alexander ('19) and Mantovani Martin ('30). Leading 2-0 at the break, Los Pepineros further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (López '81 and Bueno '90).
CD Leganés climbed to 16th place with 21 points from 24 games, 3 points behind Real Betis, which has a game in hand.
