SPAIN, Feb. 18, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 23: After losing 0-6 to Barcelona on February 11, Los Babazorros bounced back with a 1-0 victory over Deportivo La Coruna this Saturday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Garcia Manu on penalty in the 68th minute.
Deportivo Alavés climbed to 11st place with 30 points from 23 games, tie on points with Celta Vigo, which has two games in hand.
