La Liga (Week 23) : Sevilla defeats Eibar 2-0
SPAIN, Feb. 18, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 23: Two wins in a row for Sevilla. After their 0-1 win against Las Palmas on February 12, Los Sevillistas continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 2-0 victory over Eibar this Saturday.
Sevilla dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Pablo Sarabia in the 30th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Sevillistas further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Vitolo Perez in stoppage time.
Sevilla FC climbed to second place with 49 points from 23 games, 3 points behind Real Madrid, which has two games in hand.
