SPAIN, Feb. 18, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 23: Three wins in a row for Atletico Madrid. After their success against Leganés and Celta Vigo, Los Colchoneros continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 4-1 victory over Sporting Gijon this Saturday.
Kevin Gameiro scored tripple goals
45 minutes of play and neither Atletico Madrid nor Sporting Gijon have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Ferreira-Carrasco ('46) and Gameiro ('80, '81, '85).
Atletico Madrid remains in fourth place with 45 points from 23 games, one point behind Sevilla FC, which has a game in hand.
