La Liga (Week 22) : Atletico defeats Celta Vigo 3-2
SPAIN, Feb. 12, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 22: Two wins in a row for Atletico Madrid. After their 2-0 win against Leganés on February 4, Los Colchoneros continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 3-2 victory over Celta Vigo this Sunday.
Celta Vigo defender Gustavo Cabral opened the score in the 5th minute, before seeing Atletico Madrid catch up in the 11th minute thanks to Fernando Torres. 1-1 at half time. Los Colchoneros eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Ferreira-Carrasco ('86) and Griezmann ('88).
Atletico Madrid remains in fourth place with 42 points from 22 games, 4 points behind Sevilla FC.
