La Liga (Week 22) : Bilbao beats Deportivo 2-1
SPAIN, Feb. 11, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 22: After losing 3-0 to Barcelona on February 4, Los Leones bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Deportivo La Coruna this Saturday.
Deportivo La Coruna had started off well by taking the lead in the 42nd minute with a goal by Colak Emre. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Los Leones nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Muniain '71 and Aduriz '89).
Athletic Bilbao climbed to 7th place with 35 points from 22 games, tie on points with Villarreal CF, which has a game in hand.
