SPAIN, Feb. 12, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 22: After losing 2-1 to Athletic Bilbao on February 5 and 2-4 to Alavés on February 5, Los Rojiblancos bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Leganés this Sunday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Canella ('67) and Burgui Jorge ('83).
CD Leganés remains in 17th place with 18 points from 22 games, one point behind Deportivo La Coruna, which has a game in hand.
