SPAIN, Jan. 28, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 20: After losing 1-0 to Real Sociedad on January 22, Celta returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Leganés this Saturday.
Celta Vigo dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Lemos Alvaro in the 32nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Celta further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Guidetti John on penalty in the 66th minute.
Celta Vigo climbed to 7th place with 30 points from 20 games, 4 points behind Villarreal CF.
