La Liga (Week 20) : Espanyol beats Sevilla 3-1
SPAIN, Jan. 29, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 20: After five straigth victories against Celta Vigo, Malaga, Real Sociedad, Real Madrid and Osasuna, Los Sevillistas lost 3-1 against Espanyol.
Espanyol dominated the first half thanks to goals from Reyes ('4 on penalty) and Navarro Marcos ('45). Leading 2-1 at the break, Los Periquitos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Moreno in the 71st minute.
Sevilla FC are down in third place with 42 points from 20 games, tie on points with FC Barcelona.
