La Liga (Week 20) : Real Madrid beats Real Sociedad 3-0
SPAIN, Jan. 29, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 20: Two wins in a row for Real Madrid. After their 2-1 win against Malaga on January 21, Los Blancos continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 3-0 victory over Real Sociedad this Sunday.
Real Madrid dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Croatian midfielder Mateo Kovačić in the 38th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Blancos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Ronaldo '51 and Morata '82).
Real Madrid remains in first place with 46 points from 19 games, a 4-point lead over runner-up FC Barcelona.
