La Liga (Week 20) : Villarreal beats Granada 2-0
SPAIN, Jan. 28, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 20: After losing 0-2 to Valencia on January 21, El Submarino Amarillo returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Granada this Saturday.
Villarreal dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Soriano Bruno in the 42nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, El Submarino Amarillo further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by González in the 73rd minute.
Villarreal CF remains in 6th place with 34 points from 20 games, one point behind Real Sociedad, which has a game in hand.
