SPAIN, Oct. 16, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 8: After their 0-0 draw against Espanyol on October 2, El Submarino Amarillo bounced back with a 5-0 victory over Celta Vigo this Sunday.
Villarreal dominated the first half thanks to goals from Soriano Roberto ('8), Soriano ('12) and Bakambu Cedric ('38). Leading 3-0 at the break, El Submarino Amarillo further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Wass '48/own and Trigueros Manuel '90).
Villarreal CF remains in fifth place with 16 points from 8 games, tie on points with FC Barcelona.
