La Liga (Week 8) : Sevilla beats Leganés 3-2
SPAIN, Oct. 15, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 8: Two wins in a row for Sevilla. After their 2-1 win against Alavés on October 1, Los Sevillistas continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 3-2 victory over Leganés this Saturday.
Sevilla dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Argentine midfielder Franco Vázquez in the 25th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Sevillistas further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Nasri '58 and Sarabia '85).
Sevilla FC climbed to first place with 17 points from 8 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Atletico Madrid, which has a game in hand.
