La Liga (Week 9) : Malaga defeats Leganés 4-0
SPAIN, Oct. 23, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 9: After their 1-1 draw against Alavés on October 16, Los Boquerones bounced back with a 4-0 victory over Leganés this Sunday.
Malaga dominated the first half thanks to goals from Jony Rodriguez ('40 on penalty) and Castro Chori ('42). Leading 2-0 at the break, Los Boquerones further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Ramírez '57 and Carlos '90).
Malaga CF climbed to 10th place with 12 points from 9 games, tie on points with UD Las Palmas.
