La Liga (Week 10) : Real Sociedad beats Leganés 2-0
SPAIN, Oct. 28, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 10: Two wins in a row for Real Sociedad. After their 3-0 win against Alavés on October 22, La Real continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 2-0 victory over Leganés this Friday.
Real Sociedad dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Willian Jose in the 30th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, La Real further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Prieto Xabi in the 59th minute.
Real Sociedad climbed to 6th place with 16 points from 10 games, 2 points behind Atletico Madrid, which has a game in hand.
