La Liga (Week 8) : Bilbao beats Real Sociedad 3-2
SPAIN, Oct. 16, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 8: After losing 2-1 to Malaga on October 2, Los Leones returned to winning ways with a 3-2 victory over Real Sociedad this Sunday.
Real Sociedad had started off well by taking the lead in the 16th minute with a goal by midfielder David Zurutuza. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Los Leones nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Muniain '51, Aduriz '60 and Williams '72).
Athletic Bilbao climbed to fifth place with 15 points from 8 games, only one point behind FC Barcelona.
