SPAIN, Feb. 26, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 24: After losing 2-1 to Valencia on February 22, Los Blancos bounced back with a 3-2 victory over Villarreal this Sunday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Bale ('64), Ronaldo ('74 on penalty) and Morata ('83).
Real Madrid remains in first place with 55 points from 23 games, one point ahead of runner-up FC Barcelona.
