La Liga (Week 25) : Deportivo hold Atletico to 1-1
SPAIN, Mar. 2, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 25: Atletico Madrid was held to a 1-1 draw by Deportivo La Coruna on Thursday.
Deportivo La Coruna players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Romanian forward Florin Andone in the 13th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Atletico Madrid with a saving goal from French midfielder Antoine Griezmann in the 68th minute.
Atletico Madrid remains in fourth place with 46 points from 25 games, 6 points behind Sevilla FC, which has a game in hand.
